Seoul: Opening of the exhibition of the Serbian artist at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Pohang

Aleksandar Đorđević, chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Seoul, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the Serbian artist Vladislav Šćepanović, organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Pohang.

The opening of the exhibition was also attended by the Mayor of Pohang, Lee Kang-deok, a member of the Pohang City Assembly, Kim Sang-von, the director of the Museum, Kim Gab-su, as well as representatives of the embassies of Algeria and Paraguay.

The Mayor of Pohang congratulated on the selection of the artist from Serbia, as the first within the initiated international cooperation, estimating that the exhibition will contribute to the relations between Serbia and Korea, especially in the field of culture and art.

Charge d'affaires Đorđević said that the relations between the two countries are at an exceptional level, which is also evidenced by the excellent economic cooperation.

A special gallery space for the promotion of Serbia has been opened in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Pohang, which contains booklets, brochures, graphics and films, and the exhibition is expected to be seen by thousands of visitors, which will contribute to the promotion of Serbia and strengthening cultural ties, as well as economic cooperation.
