Seoul: Meeting of Serbian and Korean students within the „Young Ambassadors of Serbia“ programme

Korean students, mostly from the Department of Serbian Language at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), gathered at the Embassy of Serbia in Seoul, as part of the „Young Ambassadors of Serbia“ initiative launched last month.

This time the Korean students were joined by five Serbian students living and studying in Seoul, in order to get to know each other better and discuss the similarities and differences between Serbian and Korean cultures.

The two-hour gathering of Korean and Serbian students took place in a very pleasant atmosphere, and the Embassy prepared traditional Serbian dishes for this occasion.

It was assessed that the „Young Ambassadors of Serbia“ programme was progressing very well, that Korean students were gaining new knowledge about Serbia, and several of them have already announced they would visit Serbia in the coming months.

The activity of Korean students in the promotion of Serbia on social networks was also praised, primarily through the Instagram account oh.serbia, where content in Korean language is regularly posted, with the aim of bringing Serbian culture, customs, food and natural beauty to the Korean audience.

Activities and gatherings within the „Young Ambassadors of Serbia“ programme will continue in the coming months.
