Seoul: Ambassador Grbić with the president of the Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Korean Parliament
At the meeting, the past parliamentary cooperation between the two countries was discussed, as well as ways to further improve it. Both officials agreed that the exchange of visits by parliamentarians in the coming period would undoubtedly contribute to better general bilateral cooperation, and pointed out that parliamentary diplomacy can be the basis for strengthening cooperation in other segments, primarily politics and economy.
The two officials were pleased to note that the trade exchange between the two countries has seen constant growth over the past few years, as well as increased cooperation in the field of culture and education. A part of discussion was dedicated to the potential for the development of cooperation in the agricultural sector, especially in terms of opportunities and challenges related to the export of domestic agricultural and food products to the Korean market.
