Seoul: Ambassador Grbić with the president of the company LS

Ambassador Grbić expressed satisfaction at the opportunity to meet with the president of the company that is among the largest Korean investors in Serbia. He pointed out that Serbia is trying to attract as many new Korean investments as possible (which was also discussed recently at the meeting between the presidents of the two countries, on the sidelines of the SEF in Davos), and added that Serbia especially appreciates Korean companies like LS, since it was among the first companies to make investments in Serbia.

The president of LS pointed out that during his stay in Serbia last year, he had “fell in love with Serbia”, and that he was impressed by the quality of its workforce, adding that LS received extraordinary support from the highest leadership of the Republic of Serbia, primarily President Aleksandar Vučić, when the factory in Zrenjanin was built and opened in 2018 within just six months.

Ambassador Grbić thanked for the presented information and pointed out that the main priority of Serbia in cooperation with Korea is the strengthening of economic cooperation, the growth of the trade exchange volume, as well as attracting Korean investments, and invited the company LS to consider expansion and diversification of its business in Serbia.
