The second part of vaccine donations handed to the Republic of Lebanon

The second part of the assistance of totally 40,000 vaccine doses donated by Serbia has been delivered today to the Republic of Lebanon.

The donation was received at the international airport Rafik Hariri in Beirut by Serbian Ambassador Emir Elfić and Consul Petar Novaković, whereas on the Lebanese part the donation was received by General Haidar Skayne on behalf of the Lebanese Army.

 

Ambassador Elfić, on this occasion, emphasized the readiness of the Republic of Serbia and its leadership, to the best of its capabilities, to help all friendly countries, which was evidenced by the recent visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, to Lebanon, when he had personally handed the first vaccine batch and announced swift help in the form of most needed food.
