Rabat: Ambassador Bauer met with the Director of the Archives of Morocco Mr. Jamaâ Baïda

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Mr. Ivan Bauer, met with the Director of the Archives of Morocco Mr. Jamaâ Baïda, with whom he discussed the potential for further developing the cooperation between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Archives of Morocco.

During the meeting, details of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Archives of Morocco in the field of archives content have been agreed upon, so that the document can be signed in March in Rabat.

Ambassador Bauer informed Director Baida about the details of the exhibition of archival material that will take place from March 15th to April 10th 2022 at the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco, and invited him to open the event.

He also informed Director Banda about the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and stressed that the Archives exhibition is yet another opportunity for presenting Serbia in Morocco and ensuring better understanding of the two countries and peoples, bearing in mind that at the initiative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Mr. Nikola Selaković and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Morocco Mr. Nasser Bourita, the year 2022 has been declared "Year of Serbia in Morocco" and "Year of Morocco in Serbia".
