Prague: Ambassador Vekić with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Legal and Consular Affairs

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Prague, Berislav Vekić, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Legal and Consular Affairs of the Czech Republic, Martin Smolek.
Numerous topics were discussed at the meeting, including further improvement of bilateral relations, current events in Ukraine, the energy crisis, but the most important topic that was discussed was the transfer of ownership of the Jindrihovice memorial, as well as the reconstruction and ownership of the Czech House in Belgrade.
Ambassador Vekić informed his colleague about all the relevant facts regarding the transfer of ownership.
The Deputy Minister for Legal and Consular Affairs said that in their view, Serbia is “clearly the owner of the Jindřichovicehovice memorial”.
