Kinshasa: Ambassador Jevtić at the Hanukkah celebration

The beginning of the celebration of Hanukkah was organised in the Chabad-Lubavitch Jewish community in Kinshasa.
Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Kinshasa Miroljub Jevtić was the only representative of the diplomatic corps who attended the beginning of the celebration of this important holiday.
The rabbi of the community expressed his great satisfaction with the presence of the Ambassador, by which the Republic of Serbia showed its high regard for the Jewish religion and people.
He said that he was familiar with the very favourable position of Jews in Serbia.
The Jewish community in Kinshasa not only has a religious character, but also is a place of gathering and providing support to Jews throughout the country.
