Doha: Celebration of the feast of St. Isaac the Syriac in the St. Isaac and St. George Orthodox Church

Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Qatar Slobodan Radeka attended the liturgy and celebration of the feast of Saint Isaac the Syriac in the St. Isaac and St. George Orthodox Church in Doha at the invitation of the Archbishop of Qatar, Mr. Makarios.
Radeka and Archbishop Makarios, who studied at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade, discussed the role of the church in bringing together the Serbian community in Qatar.
The St. Isaac and St. George Orthodox Church, whose patron is Saint Isaac the Siriac, gathers a significant number of members of the Serbian diaspora in Qatar who participate in the Church's activities.
