Dakar: Ambassador Bauer presented his credentials to the President of Senegal

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Morocco Ivan Bauer presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Senegal Macky Sall in Dakar, thereby officially taking office as Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Senegal on a non-residential basis, with headquarters in Rabat.
Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Bauer took this opportunity to convey the regards of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić to the President of Senegal. Ambassador Bauer reminded President Sall of the official invitation that the President of Serbia sent to the President of Senegal in 2019.

The Ambassador pointed out that the invitation was still open and expressed the hope that, after the expected visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal Aïssata Tall Sall, the visit of President Sall to Belgrade would follow.

Before presenting the credentials to the President of Senegal, Ambassador Bauer presented copies of the credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal Aïssata Tall Sall.

Ambassador Bauer informed Minister Tall Sall about the current situation in the bilateral political and economic relations between the two countries and emphasised Serbia’s readiness to improve them.

During the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed the visit of Minister Tall Sall to the Republic of Serbia. Ambassador Bauer conveyed the regards of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić, as well as his invitation to Aïssata Tall Sall to visit the Republic of Serbia in the near future, which she has accepted with pleasure.
