Canberra: Ambassador Stefanović's interview for „4EB“ radio station from Brisbane

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Australia Rade Stefanović during his first official visit to Queensland gave an interview to the „4EB“ radio station from Brisbane for the Serbian-language newsroom.

Ambassador Stefanović briefed about numerous current issues of interest to the Serbian community in Queensland, primarily in the domain of consular affairs, as well as about the signing of a bilateral Agreement on social security between the Republic of Serbia and Australia, expected to be concluded in Belgrade at the end of the year.

A particularly important topic was the accreditation of supplementary schools in the Serbian language in Australia and raising the quality of current teaching, in accordance with the programme for educational work abroad of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, whereupon the Ambassador offered the Embassy's assistance in further steps and invited all those interested to sign up.

Sports topics such as the upcoming participation of the Serbian national football team in the World Championship in Doha were inevitable, as well as possible participation of the best Serbian tennis player, Novak Đoković in the next Australian Open tennis championship in January 2023.

„4EB“ is a multi-ethnic radio station from Brisbane, founded on 1 December 1979. Today, the programme is broadcast in 55 world languages, including Serbian language.
