Bucharest: Ambassador Tomašević with Dănuţ Neculaescu

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Bucharest, Stefan Tomašević, met today with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Dănuţ Neculaescu.

On that occasion, the interlocutors, in addition to topics of bilateral importance for the two countries, exchanged views on cooperation in international forums and regional security.

Ambassador Tomašević thanked Romania for its continuous and principled support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, as well as for its wholehearted support on the path to EU integration.

He stressed the importance of working to improve cooperation between Serbia and Romania, so that relations between the two countries reach the level they deserve, and pointed out that the initiators of cooperation between the two friendly countries should be the two ministries of foreign affairs.

State Secretary Neculaescu confirmed the importance of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly neighboring countries and stressed that a constructive dialogue should continue at all levels.
