Bern: Presentation of a Swiss investment project at the Embassy of Serbia
It is a project for construction of a residential complex, a hotel and amenities, with a total area of about 25,000 square meters, located in Belgrade's neighbourhood Dedinje. Startup of construction of the complex, which will be executed by Serbian construction companies according to Swiss standards, is planned in the next two to three months and its completion in 18 months.
Ambassador Bradić welcomed the guests and pointed out that Serbia was politically, economically, financially and in every other respect a stable country, a reliable, serious and professional partner that was an attractive and good location for foreign investments, with which the Swiss company's CEO Jan Schoch also agreed.
Ambassador Bradić noted that in the first three quarters of this year, Serbia attracted slightly more than three billion euros in direct foreign investments, which was a record result, especially considering the economic, energy and security challenges, reflected during the year in the economies of virtually all countries in Europe and worldwide.
During presentation of his company's project, Jan Schoch pointed out that he had earned the initial capital in financial operations and by investing capital on different stock exchanges. The decision to establish a new company and invest money in construction projects in Serbia was made after an extensive market analysis, the results of which showed that Serbia was a good, safe and attractive destination for construction and other investments.
