Belgium: Ambassador Jovićević with the Marshal of the Court of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Belgium, Marina Jovićević, met with the Marshal of the Court of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Ambassador Yuriko Backes.

The collocutors established that over the last two years bilateral relations between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Republic of Serbia have improved, reflecting in the visits at the Prime Minister level, as well as the highest decoration of the Republic of Serbia to the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel, awarded by the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.

Eurointegration process of Serbia and challenges on this path were discussed as well; in this regard, Ambassador Jovićević expressed gratitude to Luxembourg for the support continuously provided to Serbia.

Ambassador Jovićević informed her collocutor on the mass vaccination process in Serbia with more than three million vaccination doses of four different manufacturers given, and the solidarity Serbia showed for her neighbours and the actions taken within the healthcare system, with the aim to provide treatment for the people infected with the COVID-19 virus, as well as economic and social consequences of the health crisis.
