Beijing: Serbian pavilion at the Nanjing Art Fair International

Films and television series produced by „Telekom“, as well as short films by independent Serbian authors were presented at the national pavilion of Serbia with the support of „Telekom“ Serbia and the Cultrave Association for the Development of Art and Culture.

The ceremony on the occasion of this cultural event was attended by prominent members of the City Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, representatives of the Nanjing City Government, as well as numerous representatives of the media and prominent figures in the field of culture. In addition to the importance of the event for the city of Nanjing itself, the Chinese officials also emphasised the importance of participation of the Republic of Serbia, welcomed by the national and local media.

Embassy attaché Milan Kuzmanović participated and spoke at the ceremony. He pointed out the importance of the development of Serbia–China relations, which was greatly contributed by cultural exchange, especially film art, having regard to the popularity of our earlier feature-length films in China.

The Chinese audience had the opportunity to watch some of our latest film and television projects, such as „Dara from Jasenovac“, „Besa“, „Golden Boy“ and others in the projection room within the pavilion.
