Ambassador Jovanović with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Kiev, Aca Jovanović, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Vasyl Bodnar, with whom he discussed the improvement of bilateral cooperation and the intensification of activities regarding the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between our two countries.
The interlocutors discussed organizing political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and accelerating the ratification of the signed Agreement on mutual extension of the visa-free regime from 30 to 90 days.
Ambassador Jovanović thanked Ukraine for its principled position on the issue of non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.
Also, Jovanović informed his interlocutor about the activities that Serbia is carrying out in the fight against the pandemic, as well as about the process of immunization of the population.
