Accra: Statehood Day marked at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia

On the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, a small reception for the Serbian expats was held at the newly established Serbian Embassy in Accra.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Mr Milutin Stanojević welcomed all the guests to the new Embassy of Serbia and expressed confidence that this mission, through its diplomatic-consular activities and directly, will bring them closer to their homeland and facilitate their stay in this remote part of the globe. Chargé d'Affaires Stanojević emphasized that he is particularly pleased by the fact that the first formal contact of the expats with the Embassy is linked to the solemn event - the celebration of Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia.

The guests thanked their host for the gathering which will surely strengthen the solidarity of the local diaspora, and pointed out that the inauguration of the new diplomatic-consular mission of Serbia, is even more special due to the solemn occasion.
