Political relations
Political and economic cooperation between Serbia and Denmark is at a good level, with continuous growth, without open issues, except for the Danish recognition of Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence. The visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark J. Kofod to Serbia on 30-31. August 2021, contributed to the improvement of bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of political dialogue. On that occasion, he had meetings with the highest Serbian officials. The talks were assessed by both sides as extremely good, Danish support for Serbia's European integration was confirmed, and interest in further Danish investments in Serbia was expressed.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark A. Samuelsen visited Belgrade in November 2018, when he met with President R. Serbia A. Vučić, Prime Minister A. Brnabić and the then First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs I. Dačić.
