Political relations

The Republic of Serbia is committed to further strengthening cooperation with Barbados in all areas of mutual interest, including activities in regional organisations where Barbados enjoys full membership - the Caribbean Community, the Association of Caribbean States.

The MFA at the time Vuk Jeremić visited Barbados on 15 July 2011.

In October 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Barbados J. Walcott has participated in the work of the High-Level Commemorative Meeting to mark the 60th anniversary of the First Conference of Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade.

 

Economic relations

Exports to the amount of 28,000 euros and imports to the amount of 11,000 euros were registered in 2020. Exports to the amount of 32,000 euros and imports to the amount of 9,000 euros were registered in 2019.

 

Bilateral agreements

Obligation of recognising the training and issuing certificates to sailors for work on vessels registered in Barbados between the Department for Maritime Transport on behalf of the Register of Ships of Barbados and Department for Maritime Transport on behalf of the Government of FR Yugoslavia, signed on 7 January 2002.
