Đurić: Serbia advocates for the preservation of the Republic of Srpska’s Constitutional competences

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Đurić, met today in Dayton with the Serb member and current Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, for discussions on the political situation in the region.

Minister Đurić described the meeting as highly constructive, noting that there was full alignment on key issues concerning regional dynamics.

“We are completely united in our opposition to majoritarian impositions and externally imposed solutions, and equally committed to upholding democratic principles,” the Serbian Foreign Minister stated.

He emphasized that Serbia will continue to support the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while strongly advocating for the preservation of the constitutional competences of the Republic of Srpska, as guaranteed by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
