25. Feb 2024.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia sent a note of protest to the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Belgrade regarding the unacceptable statement made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlic Radman.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia avails itself of this opportunity to point out the complete inadmissibility of the statements by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Gordan Grlic Radman, which aired on 24 February 2024, on N1 television’s “Dnevnik” daily news show in Zagreb, and were directed against the President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, and the Republic of Serbia as a whole.

In this connection, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia also points out that the aforementioned statements represent a further continuation of the building of an atmosphere of hatred towards the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian people and undermine the common policy of promoting peace and stability in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia expresses the expectation that senior officials of the Republic of Croatia will refrain from statements that interfere in the domestic affairs of the Republic of Serbia in the period ahead, and will pursue a policy of reconciliation and good-neighbourly relations between the two states”, reads the protest note issued by the Ministry.
