Minister Dacic confers with the Mexican Foreign Ministry’s Director General for Europe

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Director General for Europe at the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States Jennifer Feller, who is in Belgrade on the occasion of the 7th meeting of the Bilateral Political Consultation Mechanism held on 4 March 2024.

In a cordial and friendly discussion, the parties noted that they were pleased with the high level of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, bound by traditional friendship, mutual respect and understanding and support.

They particularly highlighted the intensive cooperation within international organizations based on a joint commitment to observance of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

Minister Dacic expressed his deep gratitude to the United Mexican States for the consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.

In the talks, numerous opportunities for the further promotion of bilateral cooperation were discussed, and in this context, mutual readiness was expressed to strengthen political dialogue and economic ties, as well as cooperation in the fields of agriculture, culture, education, sports and tourism.
