dani srpskog_filma_201911The Days of Serbian Film festival was held at the K-13 cinema, in Helsinki, from 25 to 27 October. This cultural event has been organized for the ninth year in a row, hosted by the Serbian-Finnish Society as the promoter of a project co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and supported by the Film Center of Serbia, the Municipality of Helsinki and the Embassy of Serbia to Finland.

Paris: A concert by Emir Kusturica at UNESCO headquarters PDF Print E-mail

altThe celebrated Serbian film director and musician Emir Kusturica and his "No Smoking Orchestra" held a concert on 22 October 2019, at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Before the concert, Kusturica spoke about cultural diversity, with Serbian Minister of Culture and Media Vladan Vukosavljevic and Assistant Director-General of UNESCO for culture Ernesto Ottone Ramírez also addressing the audiences.

altDaily newspaper "The Standard" published on 22 October an interview with Ambassador Dragan Zupanjevac, who spoke of the traditional friendship between Kenya and Serbia, Kenya's support to the sovereignty of Serbia and the plans for Kenya to be the main guest of an Africa Week to be held at the Museum of African Art in Belgrade next June. One of the topics discussed by the Ambassador in the article was also the support of Serbia to Kenya's candidature for election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.

Zagreb: Presentation of Serbian Wineries at the Embassy PDF Print E-mail

altFour well-known Serbian wineries - "Kovacevic" from Irig, "Whisper" from Novi Slankamen, "Vista Hill" from Sid and "Temet" from Jagodina, presented their products at the Serbian Embassy, on 17 October. The presentation of wines was assisted by the Municipality of Indjija, a partner of the project.
