Political relations
Relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Palau are good and have the potential for further development in various areas.
T. I. Remengesau, then President of Palau, visited the Republic of Serbia in January 2019.
Ana Brnabić, then Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, met with Surangel Whipps Jr., President of the Republic of Palau, in Tokyo in September 2022.
Tatjana Macura, Minister without Portfolio responsible for gender equality, the prevention of violence against women, and the economic and political empowerment of women, headed the delegation of the Republic of Serbia to the 55th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting, held in Palau from 30 August to 4 September 2026, during which she held numerous meetings on the sidelines of the event.
Marko Đurić, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, held a bilateral meeting with Gustav Aitaro, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palau, on the sidelines of the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting in Tonga in August 2024.
Ivica Dačić, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, met with Gustav Aitaro, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palau, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in 2023.
Economic Relations
There is potential for the development of economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Palau.
