Political relations
Niger is among the countries with which there is no active political dialogue.
The visit of Bakary Yaou Sangaré, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Niger, on 5 April 2025 was of historic significance, as it marked the first visit by a Nigerien Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Republic of Serbia in recent history.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total trade in goods with the Republic of Niger in 2025 amounted to EUR 63 thousand, of which exports from the Republic of Serbia accounted for EUR 38 thousand and imports for EUR 25 thousand.
Bilateral agreements
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total foreign trade with the Republic of Niger in the first eight months of 2026 amounted to USD 40,000, of which exports accounted for USD 3,000 and imports for USD 37,000.
In 2025, total foreign trade amounted to USD 74,000, of which exports accounted for USD 45,000 and imports for USD 29,000.
